Who can write a review on the website about our roadbooks?
Anyone can write a review on our website. We always check that the review is written by someone who is a customer and has bought that specific road book. Only then will a review be published.
Do I get a request to review the product after purchase?
Yes. You will receive a review request from us by e-mail between 2 and 4 weeks after your purchase.
How does the review system for our roadbooks work?
We ask you for 3 things:
- An overall score of 1 to 5 stars
- A free text field about what you thought of the roadbook and the ride
- A short title for your review
How do we calculate the average score?
All reviews count equally. For the average score, all reviews are added together and divided by the total number of reviews. We round this up to the nearest half star.
How is the ranking of the reviews determined?
Automatically according to date of the review (most recent at the top).
How long does it take for a review to be visible on the website?
To prevent abuse and/or foul language, all reviews are first read by an employee. Therefore, it may take up to several days before a review is visible on the website.
Are all reviews published without intervention?
We treat all reviews in the same way. Even negative reviews. This helps not only us, but also other customers.
We always check whether the review was written by someone who is a customer. Only then will a review be published.
Reviews are also checked by our team. We only edit a review if it contains personal details or links (we delete those). Or serious spelling mistakes (we take those out). Reviews containing offensive language, such as swear words and discriminatory language, will not be published.
Adjusting and removing reviews
We do not do this ourselves, except in cases mentioned above. If a customer wants to have their self-written review removed, we do so. We then set that review to non-active. It then also no longer counts in the average score.
Do you get a reward for a review?
Yes, everyone who takes the time and effort to write a review gets a discount code for their next purchase. Regardless of the content of that review.
Can you report a suspected fake review?
Of course. If you think a review is fake, email info@4x4roadbooks.com clearly stating which review it is about. We will then make an additional check to see if this review was written by someone who bought that roadbook.
