Article 1: Purchase of digital products

  • No right of withdrawal
    After your purchase, you will immediately receive the roadbooks digitally. This means that performance of the contract commences during the withdrawal period. Therefore purchased digital products (roadbooks, gpx tracks, info guides, access passes) cannot be cancelled or exchanged. As a buyer, you therefore cannot cancel your order and do not have a right of withdrawal.
  • For a one-off purchase of a roadbook, gpx track or info guide, you will receive an e-mail with links to download your product immediately after your purchase. These download links are valid for 72 hours. After 72 hours, you can no longer download your files.
  • When purchasing an annual access pass, you will receive an e-mail to create an account immediately after your purchase.
    With your account you can access all roadbooks, gpx tracks, info guides in your access pass as long as it is valid.
  • All products on this website can only be purchased with immediate payment.
  • The prices of our products (roadbooks, gpx-tracks, infoguides, access passes) are subject to change without prior notice.
  • We reserve the right to change or discontinue any product at any time and without prior notice. We are not liable for price changes, suspension or discontinuation of a product.

Article 2: Fulfilment of promises and warranty

  • We do what we promise. And we are always honest with you.
    We give a 2-year warranty on the functionality of our gpx tracks and pdf files. That is: that you can open the files and that they will work. Because you obviously have a right to a correctly working product.
  • The moment we compile the routes, they are in order. But roads, road signs and regulations can change quite quickly. Sometimes certain events (e.g. a street fair, cycling race, roadworks, etc.) can also make roads temporarily inaccessible. We do our utmost to keep the routes up-to-date, but this is not always possible due to these circumstances. We are not responsible for any errors or inaccuracies in the route.
  • Always respect traffic rules and other regulations. These always take precedence over the suggested route of this roadbook.

Article 3: Copyright

  • Roadbooks, info guides, gpx tracks, access passes or other items sold on this site are subject to copyright.
  • They may not be published or reproduced in any form whatsoever without the prior written consent of the publisher.
  • Reproduction is strictly prohibited and will be prosecuted.
  • The non-authorised possession of a roadbook, info guide, gpx track, access passes… will be prosecuted.
  • What are you not allowed to do with a roadbook or gpx track from 4x4roadbooks.com?
    • Share, copy or forward a roadbook or track to anyone.
    • Share a roadbook or gpx track via the internet, on websites such as Wikiloc or Routeyou.
    • Record a ride following the roadbook and share it on the internet, for example on a website such as Wikiloc. Even then, copyright remains. The copyright is in the unique sequence of the roads.
  • Misuse will result in the suspension of your account on this website, a complaint to legal authorities and prosecution. Without exception.

Article 4: Personal property

  • Each copy is the personal property of the person who purchased it on 4x4roadbooks.com.
  • What are you not allowed to do with an access pass from 4x4roadbooks.com?
    • Share, copy or forward the account details to anyone.
  • What are you not allowed to do with a roadbook or gpx track from 4x4roadbooks.com?
    • Using a roadbook as the basis or element of events or rides by clubs, companies, non-profit organisations is prohibited.
    • Using a roadbook as the basis or element of events or rides by groups of friends of more than 3 cars is prohibited.
    • It violates copyright law. However, you can indicate that you want to do this and we will certainly find an agreement where you pay a fee per participating vehicle.
  • Abuse will result in the suspension of your account on this website, a complaint to legal authorities and prosecution. Without exception.

Article 5: Liability

  • The publisher cannot be held liable in any way. For anything (fines, accidents, damage to vehicle, damage to roads,…).
  • Driving a route in one of our roadbooks is entirely the driver own responsibility.
  • In case of legal action, 4x4roadbooks.com cannot be held responsible. All costs, fines, convictions etc. to the detriment of 4x4roadbooks.com BV as a result of driving this roadbook, will be fully recovered from the individual driver of the roadbook.
  • By using this roadbook, the rider agrees to this.

  • We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, modify or replace any part of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use by posting updates and changes on our site.

Then you can decide to submit the matter to the Federal Government’s Consumer Ombudsman Service via Consumentenombudsman.be/en or to the European Union’s Disputes Committee via the ODR Platform. Please mention our e-mail address info@4x4roadbooks.com. We would really regret that. But we respect your choice.
  • Should we still not succeed, you can take matters further. Please note that only the courts of Antwerp, Belgium have jurisdiction in the event of a dispute.
